If I Had the Power to Stop Time, I Would Take a Nap

Maybe not the most exciting use of the potential time, yet the most appealing by miles

It’s a question that we’ve all asked ourselves or a power we’ve wished for. There are never enough hours in the day and having a tool that would give us more time, without the expense of losing any time would benefit us all. Right now I’m working a tiring full-time day job, building an online specialist platform, plus writing on Medium as well as writing a novel.

Now, I’m not complaining in the least, I love to be busy and I’m blessed to have the opportunity to do all this stuff. In a pre-internet world, it would have been impossible to do what I’m doing. As I wrote a few weeks ago, I’ve been writing my whole life, and for most of that time, I believed I’d have to follow the traditional publishing route to get anywhere. I’m incredibly lucky to live in the time I do, with the access I have, that I can be an independent author instead. Being an indie writer means I get to be in complete control of everything I do. It also means that I’m responsible for everything I do, and that can be tiring!

Along with writing forever, I’ve struggled with my mental health forever, so I understand the importance of self-care. I make sure that I maintain a balance between working…
