6 Creative Challenges To Tackle This October

There’s a wealth of challenges next month to explore all aspects of creativity!

Due to work-related burnout and a few personal difficulties in the past few weeks, I’ve been feeling a little stuck, creatively. As a regular participant in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), I enjoy a good challenge. I find month-long challenges to be my favorite, though I have enjoyed shorter ones too. For a while, I tried to do the 365 Pictures challenge, where you take a photo every day for a year, but I never made it further than a week without forgetting so that one never quite worked out. Personally, I find doing a certain thing every day for a year a bit too daunting but I admire those who do it!

With my love of challenges in mind, I thought it might be a good idea to try and get into one soon as a way through everything that’s been going on. I’m working on a few writing projects, and of course, always working on The Blade & Beyond, but I think something fresh and new might help me out.

In reading up on different challenges, I’ve found that October is absolutely packed with them! So I thought that others might like to know about them too. Whether you draw, write, or create comic books, you’ll find something to do! Here is a quick rundown of some of the challenges coming up next month —
